Job summary

Ledcor Construction, Inc. is seeking an experienced Finish Grader Operator for the NXE Rook 1 Project in northern Saskatchewan. You will operate Cat 14M/16M graders with GPS machine control to achieve precise grades, elevations, and slopes on civil earthworks.

Camp-based rotations with weekly pay and CLAC benefits are provided. A strong safety mindset and the ability to read grade plans are essential for success on this project.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience operating finish graders on civil projects.
• Experience with GPS grade control systems.
• Ability to read grade plans and blueprints.
• Valid driver's license with a clean abstract.
• CSTS 2020 certification and Ground Disturbance Level 2 required.
• Pre-employment drug and alcohol testing completed.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Cat 14M/16M graders to meet production and quality targets.
• Utilize GPS machine control to achieve accurate grades and elevations.
• Perform fine grading for parking lots, roadways, drainage, and site development.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections and daily hazard assessments.
• Maintain equipment and report maintenance needs promptly.
• Interpret site plans and grade models to ensure accuracy.
• Communicate professionally with supervisors and survey crews.
• Promote safety compliance with company and client requirements.
