Job summary

Mattamy Asset Management (MAM) is seeking a seasoned Business Analyst, OneStream to join our IT Enterprise Services team in Canada. You will partner with Finance, Accounting and IT to translate business needs into scalable OneStream solutions supporting financial close, consolidation, planning, forecasting and reporting.

Reporting to the Director, OneStream, you will work with internal teams and external partners to ensure data quality, controls and reliable support across our Canadian and U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 5+ years of business analysis or financial systems experience.
• Strong understanding of finance processes: close, consolidation, planning, forecasting and reporting.
• Experience translating business requirements into practical system solutions and documentation.
• Experience with data mapping, data validation, reconciliations and integrations between financial systems.
• Experience developing test plans and coordinating user acceptance testing.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to communicate financial and technical concepts clearly.
• Excellent organizational, planning and time management skills.

What we offer

Reporting to the Director, OneStream, the Business Analyst, OneStream will support the delivery, enhancement and ongoing operation of the OneStream platform across our Canadian and U.S. operations. As part of the IT Enterprise Services team, you will partner with Finance and IT stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable solutions that strengthen financial consolidation, close, planning, forecasting and reporting processes. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external partners across the full solution delivery lifecycle, with a focus on data quality, controls, usability and reliable support.

What you’ll do

• Partner with Finance, Accounting, FP&A and IT stakeholders to gather, analyze and document business requirements for OneStream solutions.
• Translate business needs into functional requirements, user stories, process maps, solution designs and acceptance criteria.
• Support OneStream capabilities for financial close and consolidation, planning, forecasting, management reporting and analytics.
• Work with technical teams and implementation partners to configure workflows, reports, dashboards, business rules and other platform enhancements.
• Support data integrations between OneStream and source systems, including data mapping, transformation, reconciliation and validation.
• Develop test plans, test cases and scripts; coordinate system and user acceptance testing; and confirm that solutions meet business and control requirements.
• Investigate production issues, analyze root causes and coordinate timely resolution, particularly during critical close, planning and reporting cycles.
• Identify opportunities to streamline finance processes, reduce manual effort and improve data quality, controls and the end-user experience.
• Create and maintain process documentation, data mappings, support procedures, release notes, user guides and training materials.
• Provide functional support and training to OneStream users while ensuring service levels and quality objectives are met.

What you bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of business analysis or financial systems experience, including requirements gathering, process analysis, testing and implementation.
• Strong understanding of finance processes such as financial close, consolidation, planning, forecasting and management reporting.
• Experience translating business requirements into practical system solutions and clear functional documentation.
• Experience with data mapping, data validation, reconciliations and integrations between financial systems.
• Experience developing test plans and test cases and coordinating user acceptance testing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate complex issues and develop actionable solutions.
• Ability to communicate financial and technical concepts clearly to both business and technical stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational, planning and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Bonus Points

• Hands-on experience with OneStream implementation, administration, enhancement or production support.
• Experience with OneStream workflows, Cube Views, dashboards, business rules, data management and reporting.
• Knowledge of multi-entity consolidation, intercompany eliminations, currency translation, account reconciliations or financial controls.
• Experience integrating OneStream with ERP or general ledger systems, including JD Edwards.
• OneStream certification or experience working in an Agile delivery environment.

Compensation

The expected base salary range for this position is $57,500- $87,500. Actual pay may vary depending on your job-related knowledge, competencies, and skills. We recognize that exceptional may fall outside this range, and we encourage all interested candidates to apply.

You are also eligible to participate in Mattamy’s annual bonus program which gives you the opportunity to increase your total compensation if business and individual goals are achieved.
