Job summary

Mattamy Homes Canada is hiring a Master Data Analyst in Mississauga, Ontario. This hybrid role (4 days in office) supports data reporting and insights across Procurement, Design, Sales, Construction and Finance.

You will develop reports and dashboards, analyze performance, and drive data quality improvements. The team focuses on trusted data and meaningful reporting to enable better business decisions, with collaboration across departments and a clear path to growth.

Qualifications

  • University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Technology or a related discipline.
  • 3+ years experience in data analytics, reporting, data management or a related field.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large datasets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building and presentation skills.
  • Understanding of Master Data Management principles.
  • Ability to analyze large and complex datasets.
  • Ability to perform root-cause analysis and identify trends.
  • Experience with ERP and enterprise systems, such as JDE, or data platforms, such as SQL Server or a data lake.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, analyze and distribute recurring and ad hoc reports for stakeholders across Procurement, Design, Finance, Sales and Construction.
  • Develop and enhance dashboards, reporting tools and analytical models that improve visibility into business performance and trends.
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency, data quality and business processes.
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and provide data-driven insights and recommendations.
  • Manage reporting requests and priorities in collaboration with the Senior Manager, Data Management.

What we offer

The Mattamy Homes Canada Data Management team is focused on delivering trusted data, actionable insights and meaningful reporting that support better business decisions across the organization. As a Master Data Analyst, you will play an integral role in developing reports, analyzing business performance, identifying trends and transforming data into actionable insights for stakeholders across Procurement, Design, Sales, Construction and Finance.

What you’ll do

  • Completed or in progress Finance or Accounting designation (e.g. CPA, CFA)
  • Experience with OneStream; data management platforms such as Collibra, Informatica, Talend or Azure; and database design concepts and data modelling fundamentals.
  • Experience managing key master data domains, such as vendors and suppliers, products, and projects or jobs.
  • Experience with PowerBI
Compensation

The expected base salary range for this position is $57,000 - $87,500. Actual pay may vary depending on your job-related knowledge, competencies, and skills. We recognize that exceptional situations may fall outside this range, and we encourage all interested candidates to apply.

You are also eligible to participate in Mattamy’s annual bonus program which gives you the opportunity to increase your total compensation if business and individual goals are achieved.
