Financial Security Advisor, Life and Health Insurance

Join us to apply for the Financial Security Advisor, Life and Health Insurance role at Desjardins.

Position Overview

As a Life and Health Insurance Financial Security Advisor, you will serve, prospect, solicit, and develop and maintain business relationships with members and clients. Your role involves selling life and health insurance products through multiple channels, focusing on individual insurance, group insurance, retirement plans, insurance brokerage, segregated funds, and claims settlement. You will analyze client needs, recommend personalized solutions, and ensure a balance between sales objectives, risk management, profitability, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Sell and advise on life, health, disability, and critical illness insurance products.
  2. Assess customer satisfaction, follow up, and implement improvements. Maintain relationships with referral sources and analyze high-potential client files.
  3. Identify business opportunities and present information to partners to help members and clients achieve their financial goals.
  4. Monitor industry trends and stay informed about new products and market developments.
