This is a virtual position with the ability to work both virtually and from one of our Canadian offices.

Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada. This role is not eligible for sponsorship, and we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa or work permit.

What the day will look like

  1. Analyze client's specific risk exposure and detail coverage requirements related to crisis management products, including kidnap and ransom insurance, product recall insurance, terrorism, and political risk insurance.
  2. Prepare and present marketing proposals for renewals and new business.
  3. Negotiate with underwriters to establish the best conditions in terms of premiums and coverage.
  4. Follow up with the insurer to confirm that the conditions of the negotiated contract are respected.
  5. Approve documentation for new contracts, policy changes, additions, deletions, and renewals.
  6. Build contacts and maintain relationships within the underwriting community to obtain the best premiums and coverage for Aon customers.
  7. Participate in client and prospect meetings.
  8. Perform other related tasks as needed.

  5. A financial or legal background is a major asset.
