Job summary

Job description

Job Title: Financial Reporting Analyst - Consolidated Reporting
Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid – 2 days/week onsite)
Duration: 6 months
Contract Type: T4 only
Pay Rate: CA$47.17/Hour

Responsibilities

• The consultants will be essential to support a general ledger project with an emphasis on ensuring that the reporting hierarchies in S4/HANA are accurate for future reporting purposes.
• This consultant will be responsible for mapping and analyzing hierarchies within S/4 HANA against existing hierarchies used for financial and regulatory reporting under both IFRS and US GAAP.
• The consultant is expected to make recommendations at the general ledger account level for alignment and work with a broad set of stakeholders.

Must Have Requirements:

• 5-7 years of consolidated reporting at large FIS (primarily banks) or regulatory reporting to CIRO (Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization / OSFI (Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions)
• Experience within large financial institutions - Background in Accounting (reporting end)
• Confident working with large reporting hierarchies comprising of thousands of GL accounts
• Financial product knowledge, such as types of loans and deposits.
• Stakeholder management

Nice to Have Requirements:

• Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS standards
• Previous experience analyzing and enhancing reporting hierarchies
• Familiarity with S/4HANA (preferably previous experience)
