National Bank of Canada is seeking a Financial Planner to serve as a planning expert advising clients and drafting plans to meet life goals. You will build relationships, identify needs, and develop business opportunities while upholding quality standards.

Qualifications

• Degree requirements must be IPF-recognized.
• IPF diploma or in progress to obtain within 12 months.
• Mutual fund representative (MFR) licence required
• Experience in portfolio management with business development objectives
• Business development experience in financial advisory services

A career as a National Bank Financial Planner means you'll be a financial planning expert who advises clients and drafts financial plans to meet their life goals. This position allows you to take on an advisory role and develop your business relationships and leadership skills while having a positive impact.

• Identify clients’ investment and financing needs in order to draft a personalized financial plan
• Advise clients based on their needs and market trends to offer customized solutions
• Create business development opportunities to increase the number of clients and the volume of existing portfolios
• Make sure that service and operational quality standards are applied, and compliance and risk management rules are followed

Prerequisites :

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent recognized by the IPF
• Diploma from the Institut de Planification Financière (IPF) or be on track to obtain it within 12 months.
• Mutual fund representative (MFR) licence
• Experience in portfolio management with business development objectives
• Business development experience in the financial advisory services field
