Our client, a manufacturing company based in Drummondville , is seeking a dynamic and experienced Financial Controller to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all of the company’s financial activities, providing strategic and operational expertise to support the company’s growth and profitability.

Responsibilities :

• Implement management procedures and monitoring indicators to ensure efficient and optimal financial management.
• Ensure regular communication with management by providing detailed analyses of the company’s financial situation.
• Ensure strict compliance with established procedures and financial schedules, identifying and correcting any discrepancies.
• Manage financial flows and cash flow to ensure financial stability.
• Analyze the financial situation using balance sheets and indicators to guide the company’s strategic decisions.
• Ensure the achievement of the company’s financial objectives by developing realistic budget forecasts and monitoring their implementation.
• Lead negotiations with external financial partners such as banks and government agencies to optimize the company’s financial conditions.
• Ensure constant regulatory monitoring of international financial, tax, and legal standards, and ensure their application within the company.
• Organize and coordinate the activities of the administrative and financial department, ensuring efficient and transparent management.
• Record daily accounting transactions and oversee the timely closing of annual accounts.
• Manage employee payroll, tax and social security declarations, and process customer and supplier invoices.
• Update accounting systems and monitor tax, social security, and legal developments to ensure compliance.
• Ensure industrial management control by calculating cost prices and managing day-to-day administrative activities such as insurance and legal matters.

Required Qualifications :

• CA certification.
• Varied experience in a medium-sized company with a variety of administrative responsibilities, not limited to accounting or finance.
