Title: Analyst, Supply Chain Finance (6-Month Contract)

Purpose:

The incumbent is responsible for processing Supply Chain Finance transactions, providing a high level of Customer Service and contributing to the overall success of the Supply Chain Finance Services Centre. This includes ensuring specific individual goals, plans, and initiatives are executed in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives, while complying with governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures.

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:

  1. Champion a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.
  2. Process transactions within a wide range of complexity, including Payable Finance products, Trade receivable purchase products, Trade Loans, and other Trade and Supply Chain Finance Structured Products.
  3. Operate various platforms and systems needed to perform daily functions: BESS, Input Facility, CorrRisk, CGI-T360, Prime Revenue, ACBS, etc.
  4. Verify that all transactional documentation is complete, compliant, and appropriately authorized.
  5. Develop and maintain ongoing communications with clients while exhibiting a high level of professionalism in both written and verbal contexts.
  6. Respond promptly and effectively to requests from customers, SCF Sales team, and escalate any concerns and complaints to the Manager and Senior Manager to propose workable solutions.
  7. Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
  8. Actively pursue effective and efficient operations of respective areas, ensuring the adequacy, adherence to, and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk, and conduct risk.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? – We’d love to work with you if you have:

  1. University Undergraduate Degree in Finance or business-related studies or equivalent.
  2. Knowledge of Supply Chain Finance products and services.
  3. Strong working knowledge of Bank’s AML and Compliance policies.
  4. Advanced computer skills, particularly in MS Office Suite - Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, etc.

Work Arrangement:

Work in a standard office-based environment; non-standard hours are a common occurrence.
