Financial Analyst - Revenue & Yield Management

Description and Responsibilities

As an Analyst in Revenue Management, you will serve as the central point of contact for pricing-related requests within your sales division and be responsible for:

  • Providing consultation and recommendations for all pricing-related requests, including new opportunities, growth, retention, RFP responses, rate changes, impact analysis, contract renewals, and market insights.
  • Translating business opportunities and customer needs into collaborative pricing solutions.
  • Assessing profitability and risk on all pricing requests and making informed recommendations.
  • Ensuring accuracy and rigor in all pricing analyses, approval requests, and final pricing releases.
  • Collaborating with departments such as Sales, Operations, Contracts, and Legal to manage issues and propose solutions.
  • Presenting recommendations within the delegation of authority and approval guidelines.
  • Performing ad hoc analyses and supporting corporate pricing initiatives.
  • Contributing to process improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Managing customer compliance.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Commerce, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or related fields.
Experience
  • 3-5 years in a similar role.
  • Proficient in data manipulation and analysis using Excel and Access.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI or similar visualization tools and SAP S/4HANA.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Effective collaboration across all organizational levels.
  • Confident in presenting and explaining analyses verbally and in writing.
  • Experience managing small projects independently.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable with solution-oriented thinking.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Knowledge or experience in the transportation industry, especially Pricing or Revenue Management, is a plus.
