ABB, based in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, seeks a Financial Analyst to provide financial expertise to the Marketing and Sales organization. You will compile and analyze metrics, identify trends, and communicate findings to relevant groups.

This hybrid role requires a bachelor’s degree in business or accounting, at least three years of experience, advanced Excel skills, and fluency in French and English. CPA or SAP knowledge is an asset, as is the ability to work with large data sets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or Management Accounting.
• Minimum of three years of experience in a similar position with strong technical accounting skills.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• CPA designation is an asset.
• Knowledge of SAP is an asset.
• Fluency in both French and English; English required for communications outside Quebec.

• Analyzing business performance versus budget and forecast for specific channel of sales.
• Validating accuracy of financial data and reporting by performing reconciliations and review of exceptions.
• Providing information to management by assembling and summarizing data, preparing reports, and presenting findings and recommendations.
• Performing accrual and review of Marketing and Sales expenses.
• Performing analytic accounting reviews.

As a Financial Analyst, you will have the opportunity to provide financial expertise to the organization. Each day, you will compile and analyze metrics, identify trends and problems, and communicate information to relevant groups. You will also showcase your expertise by recommending actions to improve financial performance of a specific Marketing and Sales organization.

This role is contributing to the Installation Products division of ABB Electrification and is based in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu.

The work model is hybrid, with 3 days per week on site.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing the business performance versus budget and forecast for specific channel of sales.
• Validating accuracy of financial data and business information and reporting by performing reconciliations and review of exceptions.
• Providing information to the management by assembling and summarizing data, preparing reports, making presentations of findings, analyses, and recommendations.
• Performing accrual and review of Marketing and Sales expenses
• Performing analytic accounting review
