Job summary

Raise is hiring a Financial Analyst - Intermediate for a Toronto-based client. This 12-month contract offers hybrid work (Wednesday & Thursday and the 4th Friday on-site) with competitive hourly pay.

You will build financial models, perform P&L analysis, automate reporting with Power BI and Excel, and collaborate with finance partners to drive performance across business units. The role emphasizes data quality, controls, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of Financial Analysis and Reporting experience.
• Strong Financial Modeling experience.
• Advanced Excel skills (formulas, financial models, reporting tools, large datasets).
• Experience working with P&L statements, financial metrics, and management reporting.
• Experience creating, enhancing, or maintaining reporting models.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain financial reporting models and executive reporting packages.
• Perform financial analysis of P&L statements, revenue metrics, and business performance indicators.
• Support month-end and quarter-end reporting cycles.
• Prepare executive-ready reporting and analysis for senior leadership teams.
• Identify opportunities to automate and streamline reporting processes.
• Leverage Power Query, Power BI, Power Automate, and related tools to improve reporting efficiency.
• Improve data quality, controls, and reporting processes.
• Support ad hoc analysis, reporting requests, and strategic finance initiatives.
• Work closely with finance business partners across multiple business units.
• Combine strong financial analysis and advanced Excel skills with a continuous improvement mindset and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
