Job summary

Starcom Worldwide, Inc. in Toronto is seeking a finance professional to manage client billing communications, vendor reconciliation, and accounts receivable processes.

You will generate reports, coordinate with Shared Services, and ensure timely cash flow while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality. The ideal candidate has 3–7 years in finance, strong Excel and SAP/MediaOcean skills, excellent communication, and a detail-oriented, multitasking mindset.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of experience in finance or finance affiliates, experience in the media industry is preferred.
• Excellent Excel skills; MediaOcean or SAP knowledge is required; or equivalent media platform
• Effective communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organization
• Sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, multi-tasking, and execution skills
• A positive attitude, willingness to be flexible, desire to contribute to team objectives
• Detail-oriented, organized, able to meet deadlines, able to prioritize multiple tasks

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain client financial communication and relationships both internally and externally
• Liaison with agency partners on Client billing information and distribution requirements
• Manage monthly client budget control reports (BCR) and reports required for proper financial reporting
• Generate specialized ad hoc reports as requested by clients: accruals, brand reporting, ytd spend, aging, PO reporting, incentives, etc.
• Work with clients to resolve inquiries on billing quickly to ensure timely cash receipt
• Assist with discrepancy monitoring and clearances as deadlines approach
• Work with clients on monthly accruals and year-end reconciliation as requested
• Support all aspects of Accounts Receivables with Shared Service partners and clients
