Job summary

BC Pension Corporation in Victoria, BC invites students registered in a recognized co-op program to join the Finance Operations team for Winter 2027 (January–April). The role offers hybrid work with a 40% on-site expectation, and bi-weekly earnings of 2,040.97 CAD under Grid 7/3 or 2,335.03 CAD under Grid 12/3 for applicable degree paths.

• Duration: Winter 2027 (January to April 2027)
• Location: Victoria, BC - our office is located on the Selkirk Waterfront along the Gorge Inlet, offering stunning views of downtown Victoria and the Olympic Mountains. You’ll also have easy access to the nearby Galloping Goose Regional Trail for walking and cycling.
• Salary: $2,040.97 bi-weekly – Grid 7, Step 3 (for students working towards a diploma or bachelor's degree) or $2,335.03 bi-weekly – Grid 12, Step 3 (for students working towards a post-graduate degree)
• Grant: As part of our inVESTED scholarship program, you may be eligible for reimbursement up to a maximum of $1,000 per four-month work term to cover the cost of co-op work term tuition fees.
• Hybrid Work Model: You will have the flexibility to work part of the time on-campus and part of the time off-campus. The requirement for in-office presence is a minimum of 40% of your schedule in a month. Additional requirements are determined by the role functions and operational needs of each business area.

• Team: Finance Operations. The team is responsible for: Financial reporting including audited financial statements and reports, accounts payable transactions, financial reconciliations, accounting structure and policies for the corporation.
