Analyst I, Finance / Financial Analyst

The Financial Analyst is responsible for providing P&L reporting, data mining, variance, and industry analysis to support the business. They handle day-to-day financial operations for assigned business units and serve as the first point of contact for inquiries.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare variance analysis and conduct deep dive analyses to identify root causes.
• Interpret results and assess their impact on the business.
• Support the rollout of Operating Plans to the field.
• Collect, analyze, and forecast statistical and financial information.
• Provide financial reporting support to Operations & Sales teams.
• Compile financial management reports for the field, at detailed or summary levels.
• Present results to both finance and non-finance audiences.
• Develop financial models and perform scenario analyses.
• Prepare journal entries for month-end closing.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
• Support and develop reporting automation and enhancements in Power BI.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Accounting or Finance designation preferred.
• Postgraduate education preferred.
• 5-7 years of relevant experience, ideally in complex organizations.
• Experience with Oracle, Oracle Analytics System (OAS), Qlik, SQL, and Power BI is preferred.
• Strong technical skills in planning, analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.

SKILLS:

• Advanced Excel skills, including modeling, pivot tables, SUMIFS, XLOOKUPs.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Team player, proactive, and communicative.
• Ability to handle confidential information.
