Position Summary
Reporting to the Controller, the Financial Analyst is responsible for financial performance reporting and analysis. Detail-oriented and skilled at managing competing priorities, you will work with all business partners to compile and analyze accurate information to support their decision-making process.

Key Accountabilities

1. Maintain financial and accounting records and transactions;
2. Prepare accurate and timely financial close reporting and analysis for month-end processes and value-add projects;
3. Conduct variance analysis (expenses, labor, COGs, margin) to identify cost drivers and recommend corrective actions;
4. Assess, evaluate, and improve internal control systems to ensure integrity of financial reporting data;
5. Monitor relevance and efficiency of financial reporting. Define and address financial performance reporting issues, engage all involved parties to resolve these issues, and recommend improvements;
6. Participate in and provide support for external audit requirements through the preparation of accurate working papers;
7. Other duties as required.

Requirements

• Completion or in the final stages of an accounting designation program (CPA);
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a finance analyst with accounting, analysis, and financial reporting in a manufacturing environment;
• Strong advanced level in MS Excel;
• Working knowledge of financial/operational database ERP systems;
• Ability to prioritize competing demands through excellent organizational skills and multi-tasking;
• An enthusiastic, process-oriented self-starter who ensures accuracy with utmost regard to confidentiality;
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all organizational levels.
