Business Overview

The Finance team manages budgeting, reporting, analysis, and special projects across Fidelity Investments Canada's divisions. Our focus is to support these groups by identifying issues, recommending solutions, providing financial transparency, and delivering value-added assessments. We build strong relationships with our clients and stakeholders to meet their needs effectively.

What You Will Do

  1. Conduct and document moderate financial and economic analyses to support strategic initiatives under supervision.
  2. Develop and present an actionable reporting framework, including key success metrics, management/executive reports, and Board reports.
  3. Ensure timely and efficient delivery of standard reports, continuously improving reporting processes.
  4. Analyze financial performance against targets in management reports.
  5. Assist in developing financial forecasts and annual budgets.
  6. Identify and implement solutions to improve efficiency through process automation and simplification.
  7. Build positive relationships with key stakeholders and management.
  8. Participate in special projects as assigned.

What We're Looking For

  • University or College degree in Business (Accounting, Economics, Commerce, Mathematics/Statistics) or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 12 years' experience in a finance department with expertise in analysis, reporting, budgeting, or business planning.
  • Experience in the Financial Services industry is an asset.
  • Progress towards or completion of a financial/accounting designation (e.g., CPA, CFA, MBA) preferred.
