Role Responsibilities:

• Contribute to enhancing the financial close process by promoting centralization and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with different departments to gain a thorough understanding of operational drivers and their financial implications.
• Conduct in-depth reviews and assessments of monthly financial outcomes.
• Assist in the oversight of financial provisions and risk assessments.
• Take part in the preparation and verification of both internal and external financial reports.
• Oversee or contribute to key month-end accounting entries and workflows.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls and support audit processes as required.
• Participate in a variety of cross-functional projects with strategic or financial impact.
• Offer accounting insight and guidance on new deals, internal initiatives, or regulatory changes, balancing governance and performance goals.
• Evaluate current workflows and identify ways to streamline or automate to boost overall process efficiency.
• Help diagnose issues related to data integrity, reporting tools, or system limitations, coordinating with IT or data teams for resolution.
• Recommend and deploy technology-driven solutions for finance operations, emphasizing scalability and process optimization.
• Summarize and present financial analyses to aid in strategic decision-making.

Key Skills & Experience Required:

• Undergraduate degree in business, finance, commerce, or a related discipline.
• 2+ years in a financial reporting or accounting role.
• CPA designation completed or actively in progress.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP S/4HANA is beneficial.
• Experience or exposure to AI/ML technologies is considered an asset.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities, especially in simplifying complex financial concepts.
