Fed Finance is seeking a Financial Analyst for a manufacturing company in the Laurentians. You will participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, prepare reports, and ensure IFRS compliance.

You will also manage tax returns, fixed assets, and CAPEX, while collaborating with Shared Services and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The role requires a CPA designation, 4–5 years of experience, and fluency in French and English.

Qualifications

• CPA designation is a strong asset.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required.
• 4 to 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS standards and financial closing processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of SAP is a plus.
• Bilingual in French and English, both spoken and written.
• Attention to detail, ability to work independently, and strong analytical skills.
• Organizational skills, ability to manage priorities, and a team player.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.

• Prepare accounting entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Ensure IFRS 15 and IFRS 16 compliance.
• Participate in internal control activities and audits.
• Prepare tax returns (income tax, GST/QST).
• Track fixed assets and CAPEX expenditures.
• Analyze exchange rate risks.
• Monitor expense reports and credit card transactions in Concur.
• Collaborate with the Shared Services Center and participate in continuous improvement projects.
