Job summary

Employment Network Canada Inc. in Regina, Saskatchewan seeks a Financial Administrator to support growth with robust accounting and financial reporting. You will manage full-cycle accounting, including A/P, A/R, payroll, and monthly and year-end statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of full-cycle accounting, a finance/accounting credential, and proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, Word and Outlook. CPA candidacy is considered an asset.

Qualifications

• A related Degree/Diploma in finance/accounting is preferred. A CPA designation, or working towards one, is an asset.
• 5+ years of full cycle accounting/bookkeeping experience with proficiency in accounting software programs, i.e. QuickBooks, Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Motivated financial professional with strong integrity and dependability. Comfortable working as the sole accountant and with colleagues in professional team environment.
• Committed to high accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide full cycle accounting and bookkeeping including A/P and A/R.

As Financial Administrator, your accounting expertise will contribute to the growth and financial integrity of a reputable Professional Consulting firm based in Regina, Saskatchewan

Requirements:

• Provide full cycle accounting and bookkeeping support, including A/P and A/R processing, data entry, general accounting, and financial statement preparation
• Set up new projects, track time and expenses in collaboration with other team members, and issue invoices promptly. Follow-up with clients on overdue accounts.
• Calculate and remit PST/GST and all other reporting requirements and related filings.
• Administer payroll for employees.
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting, including reconciliation of bank accounts and company credit cards
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and year-end financial reports and financial statements.
