You will handle A/P and A/R, payroll, and monthly to year-end reporting, ensure GST/PST compliance, and maintain financial controls. CPA progression is an asset; degree in finance or accounting preferred; 5+ years of experience required.

As Financial Administrator, your accounting expertise will contribute to the growth and financial integrity of a reputable Professional Consulting firm based in Regina, Saskatchewan. Job Responsibilities

• Provide full cycle accounting and bookkeeping support, including A/P and A/R processing, data entry, general accounting, and financial statement preparation
• Set up new projects, track time and expenses in collaboration with other team members, and issue invoices promptly. Follow-up with clients on overdue accounts.
• Calculate and remit PST/GST and all other reporting requirements and related filings.
• Administer payroll for employees.
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting, including reconciliation of bank accounts and company credit cards
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and year-end financial reports and financial statements.

Candidate Requirements

• A related Degree/Diploma in finance/accounting is preferred. A CPA designation, or working towards one, is an asset.
• 5+ years of full cycle accounting/bookkeeping experience with proficiency in accounting software programs, i.e. QuickBooks, Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Motivated financial professional with strong integrity and dependability. Comfortable working as the sole accountant and with colleagues in professional team environment.
• Committed to high accuracy and attention to detail.
