Qualifications

• Degree in Business or Commerce with CPA designation.
• At least 5 years in financial accounting or reporting.
• Experience with SAP is preferred.
• Regulated utility knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full financial accounting cycle with accurate entries and variance analysis.
• Strengthen accounting controls, systems, and procedures for compliance.
• Support preparation of financial statements,MD&A, and regulatory reports.
• Provide accounting guidance under US GAAP and regulatory frameworks.
• Contribute to budgeting and forecasting aligned with regulatory filings.
• Oversee regulatory filings and audits, and ensure SOX controls.
• Manage chart of accounts and mentor accounting staff.
