Job summary

LMG Finance Inc. in Kamloops is seeking a Finance Assistant to support administration and coordination of our finance operations, helping connect dealerships, customers and lenders. You will handle varied tasks, maintain accurate records, and assist Finance Managers to keep transactions moving.

Qualifications

• Experience in an office or administrative setting is preferred but not required.
• Assets: dealership, lending, banking or financial services experience.
• Familiarity with consumer credit or finance applications.
• Strong MS Office skills, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate new finance applications and route to the appropriate Finance Manager for review.
• Assist with administrative steps in processing finance and lease transactions.
• Organize, review and maintain electronic documentation to ensure files are complete and accurate.
• Enter and update customer, dealership and transaction information with high accuracy.
• Monitor files for outstanding information and follow up with dealerships, customers, lenders or internal team members as required.
• Respond to routine inquiries by phone and email with professional assistance throughout the finance process.
• Provide administrative support to Finance Managers to help them focus on customers and transactions.
• Identify missing information or issues and take appropriate steps to resolve them.
• Help keep transactions moving by tracking deadlines and outstanding tasks.
• Assist with a variety of administrative tasks and projects for the finance team.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and organization in processes.
