Job summary

Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM) is seeking a Finance Manager, Operations to oversee the full accounting cycle, including AP/AR, cash flow and internal controls. You will provide leadership on budgeting, month-end and year-end closes, and audit coordination, delivering timely financial reporting for governance bodies.

The role drives system improvements and data-driven reporting across CRM and ERP platforms, with a view to strengthening financial processes and compliance.

Qualifications

• CPA designation or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting, including 3 years leading AP/AR.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting skills.
• Knowledge of ERP, CRM and Workday is an asset.
• English/French bilingualism is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the full accounting cycle including AP, AR, cash flow, and controls.
• Lead month-end and year-end close, budgeting and audit coordination.
• Prepare financial reports for Finance & Audit Committee and Board.
• Lead CRM/ERP integrations and improve reporting and data quality.
• Develop financial metrics and support senior leadership decisions.
