Job Description:

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Money In Solution Finance, this position is responsible for producing monthly management reports and analysis, as well as consolidating the Annual Plan and quarterly Forecasts. The individual will collaborate with Finance managers of both Every Day Banking and Personal Saving and Investing, supporting data consolidation, analyzing key business drivers, and providing clear commentary to support decision-making.

The key responsibilities include:

  1. Managing the preparation of Flash, MOR, and other ad hoc requests, ensuring clear, concise, value-added analysis by reviewing reasonableness, identifying key drivers, and framing insights.
  2. Acting as the primary contact for the Personal Banking team regarding monthly, forecast, and planning activities.
  3. Preparing or reviewing ad hoc analyses to support result interpretation.
  4. Maintaining relationships with business and finance partners, responding to queries, and coordinating actions.
  5. Improving finance processes and reporting capabilities for agility and responsiveness.
  6. Ensuring data integrity and controls for financial results, understanding data flow and systems, leveraging reporting tools.
  7. Understanding financial drivers, sharing industry benchmarks, and performance metrics with stakeholders.
  8. Supporting team development and delegation as needed.

Job Requirements:

  • Strategic thinker with strong business acumen
  • Charismatic and positive, with strong relationship-building skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting financial results simply and impactfully
  • University degree in Finance or Accounting, with CPA designation preferred
  • Detail-oriented, experienced in documenting processes and templates
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in reporting and analysis within a large, matrixed organization
  • Technically proficient with enterprise software, reporting systems, and report building
  • Expert in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Hyperion; able to build automated templates and reports
  • Team player comfortable in fast-paced, evolving environments
  • Strong problem-solving skills with ambiguous data and minimal guidance
  • Knowledge of Money In solutions products is an asset
  • Ability to coach and guide team members
  • Adaptable to change
