Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Finance Manager to oversee and manage our financial planning, reporting, and analysis functions. This role is critical in driving business decisions through accurate financial insights, budgeting oversight, and process optimization. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, leadership experience, and a deep understanding of accounting principles and business operations.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:

• Oversee day-to-day financial operations, general ledger, and payroll
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and forecasts
• Lead the budgeting and forecasting process in collaboration with department heads
• Conduct variance analysis and provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior leadership
• Ensure compliance with provincial, and industry financial regulations and standards
• Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and credit lines
• Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely reporting
• Implement and maintain internal financial controls and best practices
• Supervise and mentor junior finance staff or accounting team

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field (CPA or MBA preferred)
• 5+ years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, including management roles
• Strong knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP) and Excel
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities

• Work effectively as part of the Finance team to service our clients, vendors and team.
• Work in tandem with all internal teams, including but not limited to Customer Service, Fulfilment and Sales.
• Communicate in an effective & timely manner regarding financial & client issues.

Compensation:
