Base pay range

CA$95,000.00/yr - CA$125,000.00/yr

Primary Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate, up-to-date bookkeeping using QuickBooks or a similar platform.
• Process biweekly payroll and employee reimbursements in line with internal policies.
• Collaborate with tax professionals to ensure timely and accurate filing of all federal, state, and local taxes.
• Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements with consistent accuracy.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including vendor invoicing and subscription billing.
• Build and maintain financial forecasts on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Prepare financial reports such as P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow summaries.
• Advise leadership on financial models, CaaS metrics, and fundraising readiness.
• Assist in building team budgets and oversee the budgeting cycle.
• Utilize AI-powered tools to automate tasks like invoice classification, reconciliations, and expense tracking.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal financial policies.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or bookkeeping.
• Experience with subscription-based business models.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks (or similar) and Excel or Google Sheets.
• Experience managing payroll and working with tax professionals.
• Ability to develop and manage financial models and reports.
• Familiarity with AI tools for automation such as invoice classification and auto-reconciliation.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently remotely.
