Westgate Hondahas anopportunity for an F&I Manager to join our family-owned andoperateddealership. TheF&I Manager is responsible for developing ongoing and long-termrelationships with customers and is knowledgeable in mattersof financing, insurance and warranties. As a team player the F&I Managerstrives to develop collaborative relationships throughout the dealership.

Job Duties:

  • Sell financing, mechanical repair servicecontracts, GAP insurance, credit insurance and other Aftermarket productsto clients.
  • Utilize dealership management systems and procedures todeliver exceptional customer service.
  • Maintain a current knowledge of manufacturer products, rebates,financing, leasing and incentive programs.
  • Read, understand and adhere to all rules, regulations andprocedures as required by the employer, Honda Canada and OMVIC.
  • Work in strict compliance with the laws of Ontario and Canada.
  • Ensure all work performed is thorough, accurate and completed ontime.
  • Prepare all documentation, contracts, registration,submission, funding, commissioning, etc. related to all transactions andsales/leases of vehicles.
  • Maintain all reports and records as required by the manufacturer,dealership and suppliers.
  • Attend sponsored training as scheduled.
  • Ensure quotes for products and services are competitive.
  • Establish and maintain strong and professional relationships withall financial institutions, manufacturer finance centres and third-partyvendors.
  • Keep customers and staff updated on the progress for vehicledelivery.
  • Consistently meet and exceed customer expectations.
  • Handle and resolve customer complaints in a courteous andprofessional manner, ensuring a positive outcome and maintaining a highlevel of customer satisfaction.
  • Assist the sales and management team maintain and organize/cleanthe lot presentation.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Valid OMVIC certification.
  • Valid driver’slicense.
  • Ability to work in a team as well as on their own.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with an upbeat and engagingattitude.
  • Excellent verbalcommunication and pleasant demeanor.
  • Self-motivatingwith a strong work ethic.
  • Organized andpays high attention to detail.
  • Ability toproblem solve and deal with difficult situations.
  • Computer skillsand understanding of technology.
  • Flexible and opento change.
  • Team player
  • Results-orientedand accountable.
  • Experience withDealership Management Systems is considered an asset.
