Job summary

Irving Personal Care Ltd. in Moncton, NB, is seeking a seasoned finance leader to drive reporting, forecasting and budgeting across the organization. You will guide a team, partner with Sales and operations, and deliver insights that improve profitability and performance.

In this role you will lead talent management within finance, support strategic initiatives, and collaborate with stakeholders to optimize cost structures and drive sustainable growth for the business.

Qualifications

  • University Degree in Finance & Accounting.
  • CPA designation or actively pursuing CPA is required.
  • 7–10 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated people leadership capabilities.
  • Collaboratively leading and working with all business partners, internal and external.
  • Strong financial reporting, accounting, internal controls, budgeting and forecasting experience.
  • Experience leading and developing analysts, leads and individual contributors.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver accurate and timely weekly, monthly, and annual financial reporting while maintaining the integrity and reliability of financial reporting systems.
  • Support forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis activities, providing meaningful insights to inform business decisions and performance management.
  • Prepare and analyze financial and operational reports to meet business reporting requirements and support strategic objectives.
  • Lead, coach, and develop finance team members by fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • Support talent management processes, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee development, and succession planning within the finance function.
  • Contribute to the successful delivery of departmental and organizational initiatives by participating in and supporting a variety of ongoing projects.
  • Evaluate customer financial performance by gathering, analyzing, and validating key financial inputs across the product lifecycle to support profitability and strategic decision‑making.
  • Partner closely with Sales and cross‑functional teams to identify opportunities, optimize pricing strategies, and maximize customer profitability.
  • Lead the customer quotation and bid process, ensuring financial assumptions, risks, and profitability targets are clearly assessed and aligned with business objectives.
  • Lead the annual budgeting process, facilitating budget planning sessions, coordinating input from key stakeholders, and ensuring the timely completion and submission of budgets across the organization.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with JDI Corporate Finance, responding to a broad range of requests including capital investment proposals, financial variance analyses, business performance updates, and ad hoc financial reporting requirements.
  • Identify, communicate, and support cost reduction and margin improvement opportunities through data‑driven analysis and collaboration with operational stakeholders.
  • Deliver actionable financial insights and performance metrics to leadership teams, enabling informed decisions that drive profitability, operational efficiency, and sustainable growth.

Qualifications
  • University Degree or equivalent (Preferably in Finance & Accounting)
  • Professional Accounting Designation - CPA designation, or actively pursuing a CPA designation (CPA in progress), is required.
  • 7 – 10 years of relevant experience

  • Collaboratively leading and working with all business partners, internal and external
