Job summary

Huron Canada is seeking a Finance Lead to bring deep finance business acumen to Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain implementations for manufacturing and automotive clients. This is a Lead role, partnering with architecture and technical teams to shape business processes and control design on client sites in the Toronto area.

You will direct AI-enabled tooling usage, manage client relationships, and mentor consultants while delivering a high-quality finance workstream.

Qualifications

• Canadian citizenship (required for this client engagement).
• Willingness and ability to work on-site at the client location in the Toronto, Ontario area, with travel as the engagement requires.
• Deep business acumen in corporate finance and accounting operations: financial close, cost accounting, treasury, and financial reporting.
• Track record of leading finance business process design and requirements definition on ERP implementations.
• Experience in manufacturing environment; understanding how supply chain and production affect financial results.
• Strong facilitation skills for design workshops with finance leadership.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead client business process reviews across financial close, cost accounting, treasury, and financial reporting.
• Own functional requirements definition for the finance workstream and translate needs into a design.
• Facilitate and document design sessions with client finance leads to confirm requirements.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain and Manufacturing Leads on cross-functional impacts.
• Direct AI-enabled tools and forecasting capabilities to accelerate delivery while ensuring quality.
• Mentor consultants on finance design and delivery discipline.
