Wealthsimple in Toronto is offering an 8‑month Winter 2027 Finance Internship. Six tracks cover Accounting & Financial Reporting, Brokerage Finance, Internal Controls, Finance Operations, Treasury Debt Capital Markets, and Financial Partnerships.

You’ll own real work from week one, learn a finance specialty, and bring AI into daily tasks. Applicants are pursuing accounting/finance degrees, with CPA ambitions, and possess strong attention to detail, teamwork, and curiosity about fintech and AI.

Qualifications

• CPA student or actively pursuing CPA designation.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and concepts.
• Strong attention to detail with cross-team collaboration skills.
• Comfort in a fast-moving environment with deadlines.
• Curiosity about technology, fintech, and how AI is changing finance.

Responsibilities

• Own real work from your first weeks with a manager and mentor.
• Learn one part of Finance deeply and see how it connects to the rest.
• Bring AI into how the work gets done using tools like Claude.
• Improve processes and contribute ideas in a fintech environment.
• Learn how a fintech operates and read financial and operational data.
