Job summary

Wealthsimple Inc. in Toronto is offering Credit Analytics and Fraud Countermeasures internships (Winter 2027) with a hybrid location requiring in-office presence on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

The programs run 4 to 8 months and are open to co-op and non-co-op students, as well as recent graduates. You will contribute to risk analytics, fraud countermeasures, and cross-functional projects with mentorship and community connection.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Canadian post-secondary institution (in your third year of study or later) or a new graduate (Within 6 months of your graduation date)
• Available to work full-time hours
• Residing in Canada
• Able to commute to our Toronto HQ on Wednesdays and Thursdays

Responsibilities

• Support the development of credit strategies to manage risk and optimize performance across retail lending.
• Evaluate portfolio performance, campaigns, strategies, and experiments.
• Build data-driven cases for fraud strategies and monitor account activity.
• Partner with data science, product, and engineering to ship features with impact.
• Prepare dashboards and visualizations to communicate results to leadership.
