Job summary

Coeur Mining is seeking an entry-level finance role at the Rainy River mine in Ontario. You will support the finance team by entering invoices, processing expenses, and handling AP filings in a residential mining site environment.

Ideal candidates have an accounting credential, MS Office proficiency, and strong communication with attention to detail. This is a growth role offering exposure to multiple finance functions and cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Post-Secondary diploma or degree in accounting or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous office experience is an asset.
• Skilled user of Microsoft Office programs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Enthusiastic and proactive with willingness to learning and developing.

Rainy River

Situated in beautiful northwestern Ontario, 65 km northwest of Fort Frances, the Rainy River mine is an open pit and underground, gold and silver producing, residential mine site.
The Rainy River mine, located adjacent to the Ontario/Minnesota border is 65 kilometers northwest of Fort Frances, Ontario and is situated half way between Winnipeg, Manitoba and Thunder Bay, Ontario The area is home to more than 130 species of birds and large populations of moose, black bear and deer. If you enjoy outdoor activities including hunting, fishing, winter sports and lake country then this is an area you will love to live and work in.

Applicants who reside in Northwestern Ontario and have experience working in a cross-cultural environment, coupled with knowledge of the unique challenges and opportunities presented to those living in the Northwest Ontario, are assets. About The Role

Schedule: 5 days on /2 days off and followed by 4 days on / 3 days off

Position Overview

This position is an entry level position within the finance department. The successful applicant will be exposed to a variety of functions within the Finance department.

Key Responsibilities

• Enter invoices into the accounting system and process invoices

Compensation

The anticipated salary range for this position will be between $55,000 to 65,000.
