Job summary

The Mason Group - Strategic Search Partners is seeking a Director of Finance for our client in downtown Vancouver. This is a full-time, in-office leadership role reporting to the Vice-President Finance, with responsibility for a four-person finance team and guiding day-to-day accounting and reporting.

You will drive automation and leverage AI to deliver timely analytics, partner with senior leadership, and elevate the value of the finance function through rigorous reporting, strategic planning,

Qualifications

• CPA designation required for senior finance leadership.
• Experience leading finance teams in growth environments.
• Proven ability to leverage AI/automation to optimize finance processes.

Responsibilities

• Finance Team Development and AI automation: drive adoption of AI while developing the finance team to add value beyond accuracy.
• Full-Cycle Accounting & Controls: ownership of accounting, reporting and controls including inventory, purchasing and vendor management systems.
• Financial Planning, Modelling, & Growth Analysis: develop financial models for expansion, capex and acquisitions, including international opportunities.
• Treasury, Tax & Compliance: oversee cash flow forecasting, working capital, tax compliance, banking relationships, and audits.
