Job summary

Bulkley Valley Credit Union is seeking a qualified financial professional to lead accounting and budgeting across the organization and its subsidiaries. You will work closely with the CFO to implement robust financial controls and reporting practices.

The role requires CPA designation, a minimum of three years accounting experience, and a focus on accurate budgeting, variance analysis, and policy development to support strategic goals in BC.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years accounting experience.
• Professional accounting designation (CPA) required.
• Experience with budgeting and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial accounting and budgeting systems for Bulkley Valley Credit Union and subsidiaries.
• Assist in preparation of annual operating and capital budgets.
• Compile and analyze budget requests and justifications; incorporate branch budgets into the overall budget.
