Job summary

AltaGas is seeking a Midstream Finance Co-op Student in Calgary to gain hands-on experience across finance and accounting functions within the Midstream business.

You will support reporting, analysis, month-end processes, and journal entries, while collaborating with Finance, Accounting, Operations, and Commercial teams.

This 8-month program starts January 2027 and offers mentorship and exposure to energy industry finance, with professional development and networking opportunities.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in 2nd or 3rd year of undergrad in business/finance
• Proficient in Excel and data analysis
• Strong analytical and detail-oriented mindset
• Good communication and organization

Responsibilities

• Support finance and accounting activities across the Midstream business.
• Assist with financial reporting, analysis, and month-end processes.
• Help prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and financial documents.
• Analyze financial results, variances, and trends.
• Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, Operations, and Commercial teams to support business objectives.
• Contribute to process improvements and special projects.
