AltaGas is seeking a Midstream Finance Co-op Student to join our Calgary team for an 8-month term beginning January 2027. You will work with experienced professionals to support key finance and accounting functions within the midstream business, gaining hands-on experience through meaningful projects and day-to-day tasks.

This role emphasizes finance reporting, journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in 2nd or 3rd year of an undergrad degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• Proficient in Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis techniques.

Responsibilities

• Support a variety of finance and accounting activities across AltaGas' Midstream business.
• Assist with financial reporting, analysis, and month-end accounting processes.
• Help prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and other financial documentation.
• Analyze financial results and investigate variances and trends.
