Job summary

AltaGas is seeking multiple Finance Interns for a summer internship program in Canada. You will gain hands-on experience supporting financial processes across our energy infrastructure company.

You will work with Tax, Cash Processing, Midstream Marketing Finance, or Planning & Reporting teams on meaningful projects and develop practical analytical skills. As a student in your 2nd or 3rd year, you will contribute to budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and data validation while learning from

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in 2nd or 3rd year of an undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• Proficient in Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis techniques.
• Analytical mindset with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with financial analysis, reporting, and data validation.
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking activities.
• Preparing clear, accurate reports, dashboards, and presentations for internal stakeholders.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather and interpret financial information.
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes and enhance efficiency through automation or best practices.
• Supporting special projects and other business initiatives as required.
