Job summary

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Finance Accounting designation.
  • 5–7 years related experience; 3–5 years in business partnering roles.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain dynamic financial models to evaluate initiatives and support decision-making.
  • Lead monthly financial reviews and performance analysis (P&L and balance sheet).
  • Highlight insights to improvements/risks and foster commercial mindset.
  • Deliver overall financial performance including budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
  • Ensure contracts are reviewed and risks identified; provide executive reporting.
  • Coach and mentor finance talent and collaborate across sales, operations, and growth initiatives.

Job Description:
Major Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain dynamic financial models to evaluate commercial initiatives, enabling scenario analysis, capital investment assessments, and strategic decision-making with flexibility and precision.
  • Lead monthly financial reviews and performance analysis (P&L + balance sheet).
  • Proactively highlight and summarize insights into potential improvements/risks in addition to building the commercial mindset of the business.
  • Delivery of the overall financial performance of your responsible business including the achievement of revenue, profit and expense budgets on a monthly / quarterly /annual basis.
  • Meet financial reporting responsibilities ensuring results, budgets and forecasts are robust, appropriate and auditable.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all major contracts are commercially reviewed, and relevant risks identified.
  • Preparation and on time delivery of Executive Committee management reporting, combining variance explanation and insights
  • Develop strong influencing relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure maximization of commercial impact of relationships.
  • Leading and encouraging collaboration between cross functional teams to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Collaborate across teams to support sales, operations, and growth initiative.
  • Lead the development of alternative commercially viable propositions to stimulate profitable growth, drive operational efficiencies, effectively manage assets and increase annual Free Cash Flow
  • Ensure clear and defined processes to manage end to end ownership of customer deals/contracts.
  • Coach and mentor finance talent for future success
Education & Experience:
  • Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field
  • Finance Accounting designation
  • A minimum 5 to 7 years related experience.
  • 3-5 years in Business partnering rolesDemonstrated leadership qualities
