Job summary

Radius Community Health & Healing is seeking a Finance Assistant to support the Finance and Office Manager for Pathways Programs. The role focuses on vendor payments, accounts payable/receivable, and monthly funder claims, with other administrative tasks as required.

The position requires relevant accounting education, INTACCT experience, and strong MS Office skills, along with confidentiality and strong communication. On-site work in Edmonton with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Relevant accounting education and office experience.
• Proficiency in INTACCT (minimum of 3 years' experience).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Processes invoices and accounts payable payments in a timely manner.
• Processes client payments and GL entries and/or adjustments as needed.
• Code and distribute invoices for payment approval utilizing approved budgets.
• Reconcile and maintain all vendor records and accounts.
• Prepare and invoice internal charges for overhead and admin fees.
• Prepare and make bank deposits.
• Reconcile and process petty cash.
• Prepare and update client statement of accounts.
• Filing and record keeping for all financial documents.
• Process and distribute incoming and outgoing mail.
• Prepare funder claims and ad hoc reports as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
