Job summary

FYidoctors is seeking an Accounts Payable Analyst at our Home Office in Calgary, Alberta. You will process invoices, reconcile statements, and collaborate with clinics and vendors to ensure accurate, timely payments.

This role supports multiple business units and helps uphold our high service standards. The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in accounts payable, strong communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with ERP experience (NetSuite preferred).

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years accounts payable experience.
  • Experience in high-volume environment; understanding of accounting concepts.
  • Post-secondary Accounting diploma/certificate is an asset.
  • Working knowledge of ERP Systems (NetSuite an asset).
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative, adaptable and proactive team player with growth mindset; manage changing priorities.
  • Bilingual English/French is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clinics and vendors.

  • Review invoice mapping and matching invoices to purchase orders.
  • Respond to vendor inquiries, reconcile vendor accounts, solve problems, and maintain relations.
  • Research and resolve invoice discrepancies.
  • Support the Accounts Payable team members.
  • Adhere to company policies, contracts, accounting principles, and reporting requirements.
  • Perform other duties to support the team and organizational goals.

Job description

Join our dynamic team as an Accounts Payable Analyst! In this role, you’ll be collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, processing a high volume of invoices, and providing support throughout the organization. You’ll be crucial to our success as we deliver world-class service to our many business units.

The role is located at our Home Office located in Calgary, Alberta.

What You'll Do
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clinics and vendors
  • Receive, process, verify and reconcile vendor invoices and statements accurately and timely
  • Review invoice mapping and matching invoices to purchase orders
  • Respond to vendor inquiries, reconcile vendor accounts, solve problems, and maintain good internal and external relationships
  • Research and resolve invoice discrepancies
  • Support the members of the Accounts Payable team
  • Adhere to company policies, vendor contracts, accounting principles, and reporting requirements
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and organizational goals
What You Bring
  • 1-3 years of accounts payable experience
  • Experience in a high-volume environment with an understanding of accounting concepts
  • Post-secondary Accounting related diploma/certificate would be an asset
  • Working knowledge of ERP Systems (NetSuite would be considered an asset)
