Job summary

GoMaterials is seeking a motivated member of the Finance & Accounting team to help refine accounting processes from day one. Reporting to the head of finance, you will gain hands-on experience and have the autonomy to propose improvements while supporting revenue and expense bookkeeping.

This role offers flexible hours and the possibility to work from home, with exposure to cross-functional teams including sales and operations, and a potential path to full-time joining the GoMaterials team after

Qualifications

• Degree in finance, accounting or related field, in progress.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English (French, a plus).
• Comfortable dealing with members at various levels within an organization, including the executive team.
• Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint.

• Create checklists and procedure documentation.
• Support the head of finance with various ad hoc analyses and presentations.
• Support the bookkeeping function by recording revenue and expense transactions.

About the role

As a member of the Finance & Accounting team, reporting directly to the head of finance, you will have the opportunity to develop an intimate understanding of our company's accounting processes and will be given the support and autonomy to help us improve them. You’ll play a pivotal role in growing our business from day 1 and you’ll be able to continuously share your ideas with us. Plus!!
