Job summary

CBRE Canada is seeking a Finance Analyst to apply basic cash and accrual accounting to deliver accurate financial reports for a portfolio of clients and properties.

You will perform accounting transactions, post journal entries, and generate comprehensive packages, using data from multiple sources to support management decisions. The role emphasizes CBRE's values and a commitment to accuracy and process excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Ability to follow established accounting procedures.
• Experience analyzing information and making judgments.
• Strong Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) skills.
• Good organizational and numerical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Complete accounting transactions to prepare client financial statements.
• Create and post journal entries and ensure expenses, receipts, distributions, and other transactions are posted.
• Use data from multiple sources to generate reports.
• Generate financial packages for accuracy and reporting.
• Review information for management and vendor requests.
• Analyze trends and scenario planning tools/models.
• Respond to and resolve accounting issues for management and clients.
• Research open issues and anticipate conflicts to minimize problems.
• Apply standard procedures to solve routine problems.
• Lead by example and align with CBRE values.
• Work within standardized procedures to meet deadlines.
• Exchange information clearly and confirm understanding.
