Job description

Position Summary

Acuren is currently recruiting for a Finance Admin in Fort Sask AB. If you are seeking a dynamic environment with opportunities for individual growth and learning, this is for you.

Responsibilities
  1. Payroll
  • Receive daily time sheets submitted by site, technicians, or supervisors.
  • Enter time sheets into the system (payroll & invoicing) daily, in accordance with system entry periods.
  • Perform weekly payroll checks for all time sheets.
  • Export system data for the current pay period for all sites.
  • Review the Weekly Time sheet tab for each employee against physical DTRs.
  • Check dates, billable hours, non-billable hours, shifts, expenses, job numbers.
  • Save payroll reviews to the appropriate folder for audit control.
  1. Invoicing
  • Enter all costs into client systems as required.
  • Track client PO spend for ongoing projects.
  • Provide costing/PO spend details to clients as needed.
  • Follow up on unsigned DTRs and PO increases.
  • Submit invoice packages for review.
  • Post invoice batches in MAS by end of day.
  • Enter invoices into third-party portals and monitor approval status.
  • Report unbilled revenue at month-end.
  1. Other Administrative Tasks
  • Open jobs in the system.
  • Code third-party invoices and submit to Accounts Payable.
  • Request system rate updates.
  • Obtain contractual approvals prior to work commencement.
  • Understand all contractual billing requirements per client.
  • Perform other administrative duties as needed.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of related work experience.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Word/Excel and general knowledge of accounting systems.
  • Experience in accurate processing in high-volume environments.
  • Professional relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience in an industrial environment is an asset.
