Job summary

Scarborough Transit Connect (STC) is seeking a Final Lining Assistant Manager in Toronto to lead and coordinate final lining activities for SEM tunnel projects. You’ll work with construction, engineering, survey and quality teams to ensure progress aligns with drawings, specs and safety standards.

Your background includes 8+ years in underground or heavy civil projects, with experience in cast‑in‑place concrete final lining and formwork systems.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of construction experience in underground, tunnelling or heavy civil projects.
• Experience self-performing cast-in-place concrete final lining or similar underground works.
• Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, coordination, and execution of final lining activities for SEM tunnel and underground structures.
• Coordinate with Construction, Engineering, Survey, Quality, Safety and subcontractors to meet project requirements.
• Monitor progress, assist in short-term work plans and look-ahead schedules.
• Review drawings, specs, work packages, and procedures for field execution.
• Resolve field issues related to constructability, sequencing, access, and quality.
• Coordinate resources to support final lining activities and ensure inspections and documentation are completed.
