Qualifikationen

• Certified Journeyperson in the Truck and Coach trade.
• Experience with CAT, Cummins and PACCAR engines is an asset.
• Experience with electrical diagnosis and aftertreatment systems is an asset.
• Previous mechanical shop experience is an asset.
• Must be registered in the 310T trade.
• Commitment to customer service and service excellence.
• Ability to communicate and work effectively with customers, the service team and branch personnel.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Aufgaben

• Evaluate the working condition of on-road equipment and diagnose issues.
• Disassemble/assemble components and order parts as needed.
• Repair truck and coach equipment in the field environment.
• Use related instruments, hand and power tools, and computer systems.
• Document machine information, actions taken, and time on work orders.
• Assess service task hazards and ensure safe work practices.
• Use parts catalogues to locate and order parts.
• Road test equipment and verify attachment operation.
