Job summary

Ovivo is seeking a Field Assistant to support equipment installation, maintenance, and preparation at customer sites across Grande Prairie, Alberta. You will mainly work in the field with some yard/shop duties, ensuring gear is ready for upcoming projects.

The role requires a high school diploma, a valid Alberta license, and a hands-on mechanical mindset. Travel to various sites is expected, with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Valid Alberta Class 5 driver’s license with clean abstract.
• Experience operating a skid steer is an asset.
• Mechanical and plumbing knowledge is an asset.
• Strong verbal and written communication; team player.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform field work.

Responsibilities

• General maintenance of shop tools, equipment, and vehicles.
• Notify Supervisor of any equipment defects promptly.
• Prepare support equipment for upcoming projects.
• Installation and set-ups or rig ups and location moves.
• Actively participate in the safety program and complete required safety paperwork.
• Demonstrate company values.
