Job summary

Brandt’s Rocky View Agriculture branch seeks a Field Agriculture Heavy Equipment Technician to service tractors, hay tools and turf implements in Alberta. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain equipment at customer sites and in the field, with travel to rural customers.

The role requires strong mechanical expertise, ability to lift, and good communication. Apprenticeships welcome; valid driver’s license and a passion for problem solving are a plus.

Qualifications

• Clear communication with customers and team
• Ability to meet physical demands including lifting up to 50 lbs
• Experience diagnosing, repairing and maintaining agricultural equipment
• Willingness to travel to customer sites in Alberta
• Class 5 Drivers Licence preferred

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair & maintain tractors, hay tools and other ag equipment
• Provide field support and travel to customer sites for diagnosis and repair
• Perform preventative maintenance and testing in field
• Record detailed repair notes and warranty documentation
• Maintain customer relationships and build business in Alberta communities
• Assist with reconditioning of pre-owned equipment
• Communicate with internal support to troubleshoot problems
