Job summary

Lakeside Process Controls Ltd. is seeking a Technician, Combustion Services to perform on-site configuration, commissioning and troubleshooting of combustion systems.

The role involves travel, after-hours coverage, and potential night work to support industrial boiler and burner applications. The successful candidate will hold a G1 Gas certification, have 3+ years of field experience, and strong customer service and troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

• G1 Gas certification is required.
• Minimum three years of experience.
• Strong customer service skills expected.
• Advanced troubleshooting abilities needed.
• Familiarity with CSA B149 Code required.
• Ability to climb ladders and work at heights.
• Experience with Burner Management Systems & Controls (Honeywell/Fireye/Siemens).
• Knowledge of measurement devices and electronics.

Responsibilities

• On-site services including configuration, commissioning and troubleshooting.
• Travel, overtime and after-hours coverage is required.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays and be on-call for emergencies.
• Work outdoors in inclement weather.
• Perform maintenance under customer contracts.
• Consult diagrams and technical documentation (schematics, manuals, standards).
• Install, configure, calibrate and maintain control, measurement and indicating instrumentation.
• Calibrate components and systems.
• Maintain relationships with customer personnel across departments.
• Provide premier customer service and timely resolution of concerns.
• Promote a team approach within Lakeside.
• Perform other duties supportive of main objectives.
