Job summary

Amdocs in Bedford, Nova Scotia, is seeking a Utility Implementation Coordinator (Field Technician) to coordinate, track, and facilitate utility infrastructure projects from initiation to completion.

You will be the primary contact between internal stakeholders, utility companies, field resources, contractors and customers to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and in compliance with requirements.

This role serves as the primary point of contact between internal stakeholders, utility companies, field resources, contractors, and customers to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and in accordance with customer and regulatory requirements.

What will your job look like?

Will manage multiple projects simultaneously, monitor workflow and performance metrics, coordinate permitting and utility approvals, maintain project documentation, and ensure all deliverables are completed accurately and on time.

All you need is...

• Liaise with utility companies, municipalities, contractors, and customers
• Coordinate joint staking activities and utility scope reviews
• Manage utility permits, locates, easements, and approval requirements
• Identify project risks and escrow issues as required
• Track project status and provide updates to management and customers
• Frequent travel within designated area
• Ensure compliance with company safety policies, customer requirements, and industry standards
• Valid Class 5 Nova Scotia Drivers license

Must have skills:

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel

Nice to have skill:

• Experience coordinating utility, telecommunications, construction, or infrastructure projects
